The countdown to back-to-school is on in our house. Once September rolls around, very morning starts with the same question: sneakers or rain boots?

My daughters walk to school, so weather matters. You can’t control if it rains, but you can control whether you’re ready for it.

Work is the same. You can’t control every disruption — market shifts, new regulations, supply chain hiccups — but you can control your preparedness.
