But here’s the reality I see every day: AI is making human leadership more important — not less.

Sure, AI can crunch numbers faster than you can say “quarterly report.” It can draft a tidy email. It can even write a halfway decent meeting agenda.

But it can’t:

· Sit with a struggling employee and help them through it.

· Rebuild trust after a tough conversation.

· Speak with empathy to a grieving family.

Try asking ChatGPT to script that conversation. I promise — it won’t land.

Leadership isn’t about data. It’s about heart, intuition, timing, and trust — all things that can’t be programmed.

So, here’s to AI — for helping with the busy work. And here’s to great leaders — for doing the real work.
