Lead Like LeBron
Great leaders don’t just make moves—they make others better.
Every time I toss a balled-up napkin toward the trash, I whisper, “LeBron.” It’s my version of the clutch shot. Does it land? Rarely. But it always reminds me what sets LeBron James apart.
Yes, the man’s a generational talent. But what really makes him different? How he leads.
LeBron isn’t just playing the game—he’s thinking three moves ahead. He’s the player, the strategist, the mentor, and the culture-setter. He studies. He listens. He builds others up.
He’s led teams through adversity, built chemistry with wildly different rosters, and brought out the best in others—because he doesn’t just rely on skill. He relies on intentional leadership.
Clarity. Accountability. Trust. That’s LeBron’s playbook—and it works just as well in business as it does on the court.
Leadership isn’t just about the spotlight. It’s about knowing when to pass, when to push, and when to bring everyone with you. (And yes—I did recycle the napkin. Eventually.)
